B.Sc. in Fashion Design is a four-year undergraduate course in fashion designing, spread over eight semesters.     • Fashion Coordinator: A Fashion coordinator’s job is to establish and maintain relationships with designers, manufacturers, and merchandisers to showcase new collections and stay abreast of current market trends. Salary Range: (4 – 10 lakhs)
    • Apparel Production Manager: They are in charge of the production of apparel in an organization. Their responsibilities include checking whether the raw material being used for production is fulfilling the set industry standards or not. Salary Range: 7 – 12 lacs
    • Fabric Quality Control Manager: A Fabric Quality Control Manager sources different types of fabric or textiles that are fit for the purpose at hand and carry out quality control tests. The typical task of a fashion consultant/personal stylist is to help people develop a wardrobe that promotes their public image.     • Technical Designer: People working as technical designers are responsible for deciding how a garment should be stitched and made. Thus, they are responsible for creating a technical package or TP. So, their task starts when a sketch of the garment to be made is given to them. Typically speaking, technical designers need to put in sewing details, points of measurement (or POM), wash description, label/hangtag placement, and packaging instructions.

Eligibility for Admission

Pass in Pre-University / Higher Secondary / 10+2 / ‘A’ Level or equivalent of any recognized board or council in any discipline. Candidates with 3 year Dip in Commercial practice shall be eligible for direct admission in 2nd year (3 sem) B.Com. This is applicable only for the students who have studied Diploma in Karnataka.
